My Neighbourhood
Young people or youth groups from three different areas of Nottingham City, UK will explore and discover the neglected buildings and secret spaces in their neighbourhood. This is a peer- led project so young people will decide where they would like to photograph, film and make comments on how a “forgotten place” could be changed or improved. Working in collaboration with artists and creatives young people will have the opportunity to work with digital photography, film or text.
Throughout the project young people will showcase their images and comments on this blog. The project will end with the group showing their images, sound, and recordings being projected on a large scale in a space in one of the three neighbourhoods.
